The disasters in question are; the fall of Baghdad in the hands of the Mongols in 656 H, the fall of Baitul Maqdis in the hands of the Crusaders in 492 H, then the fall of Granada in Andalusia and the end of the Islamic mission in that country in 897 H/1592 AD, finally the fall of the Ottoman caliphate in 1342 Hl 1924 AD which is the end of the stronghold of Islam.The four historical cities that became the basis of Islamic power in the past are the ones discussed in this book.
